Ο Παγκόσμιος Οργανισμός Υγείας (ΠΟΥ) αναμένεται ότι θα δημοσιοποιήσει τις αξιολογήσεις τους, για την έκτακτη χρήση των δύο κύριων κινεζικών εμβολίων κατά της COVID-19, όπως επίσης και του εμβολίου της Moderna, μέχρι το τέλος της επόμενης εβδομάδας, όπως δήλωσε σήμερα η βοηθός γενική διευθύντρια του αναφερόμενου οργανισμού Μαριάντζελα Σιμάο.
Η Σιμάο δήλωσε σήμερα, ότι η ανεξάρτητη επιτροπή του ΠΟΥ αξιολογεί το εμβόλιο της Moderna, αλλά και ένα εμβόλιο της κινεζικής Sinopharm, ενώ θα εξετάσει και ένα άλλο σημαντικό κινεζικό εμβόλιο που παρασκευάζεται από την by Sinovac Biotech, την επόμενη εβδομάδα.
«Έτσι, από την αρχή της επόμενης εβδομάδας ή στο τέλος της, θα έχουμε την τελική αξιολόγηση αυτών των τριών εμβολίων» σύμφωνα με τα όσα δήλωσε η ίδια.
